We’re delighted to announce that Guidant Global have won the Recruiting Back Better award at the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards 2021.
The Recruiting Back Better award was a new category for 2021, introduced to recognise the changes required in recruitment practices during the pandemic, and identify practices that have worked well and can be taken forward in a sustainable way.
Our Managing Director, Karina Townley, commented on our win:
“I'm absolutely delighted that we've received this recognition for our ongoing commitment to inclusive recruitment. #TeamGuidant have refused to allow a global pandemic to get in the way of doing what's right, or to allow anybody to be disadvantaged by the pandemic’s effects on the world of work.
We’ve continued to share our experiences and knowledge, strengthen our partnerships and establish new ones, to help employers and recruiters build a better and fairer world of work. I couldn’t be more proud of the team!”
We’re thrilled to have won this award a year after we were Highly Commended in the ‘Most Inclusive Recruitment Campaign’ category at the 2020 RIDIs.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the RIDI awards judging panel for this incredible recognition, and a big congratulations to the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation trust for being Highly Commended in this category.
Congratulations also to all the other 2021 RIDI award winners and nominees for their inspiring disability confident recruitment efforts, and their important work in removing barriers for disabled people.
